Inspecting Wood Shingle and Shake Roofs

Goal:

The goal of this course is to teach the student how to inspect a roof-covering material made of wood shingles and shakes.

Objective:

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to inspect wood shingle and shake roofs including identification of the different types, performance and aging characteristics, common defects, and wind and  hail damage.
